Schools vary a great deal from one another, yet schools from various countries are a complete mass of varieties. While the Japanese are lovely and stylish, similar to the young girl who is an Instagram fashion star, they are not permitted to do fashion at school. Japan schools have really strict rules and regulations, and you cannot go against them if you want to remain a student. That is the reason they have the best schooling system compared to other educational systems in the world. Here are a few realities you didn’t know about Japanese schools.
1. You can’t do hairstyling of your choice at school
This is on the grounds that kids maybe get distracted by their hair. Boys must have a straight cut with no styling layering. Girls, then again, can have their hair long or tie it up in the event that they need. Yet, styling it isn’t permitted in any.
2. No great appearances are permitted
Students in Japanese schools are encouraged to focus only on their studies, not on their styling like girls are forbidden to apply nail paints, wear makeup, or do waxing on their legs.
3. Relationships among boys and girls are strictly not allowed at school
You cannot show your feelings to someone you have crush upon in your class which is really tough though but relationships are strictly banned in Japanese schools because according to them, school students are really too young to think on that subject
4. No substitute instructors
In case if the teacher of the class is sick or absent but still alternate teachers will never be allotted, students are alone in their class but studying. Which is out of our imagination in a European or American school! But in Japan, this is not a big deal to the great discipline they have in their schools.
5. Greetings are mandatory
In the morning, it is mandatory for each and every student to greet their teacher in their classrooms in few schools, it is the tradition to begin the day with some meditation, so the students have some positive energy in them before they start their long day.
6. You are not permitted to be late
It is strictly against school rules to come to class late except if there is a pressing circumstance. In spite of the fact that this is valid for some schools, it is worth nothing that Japanese students are extremely punctual. Additionally, they will typically remain late after school for extracurricular exercises or additional classes.
7. Uniforms are mandatory
In Japan, the uniform is the same for every school Boys are required to wear black suits whereas girls are required to wear plaid skirts.
8. Lunch from home is not allowed
The school gives food to the students and it tends to be either a bowl of rice, fish, or soup. Students are actually punished if they don’t finish their food. In any case, this one isn’t applying for high school nowadays.
